The BC-U2 battery charger can simultaneously charge two compact lithium-ion batteries of models BP-U90/U60/U30 at high speed. The batteries can power XDCAM camcorders for up to six hours. The BC-U2 can charge two BP-U90 type batteries in 190 minutes. With a capacity of 85 Wh achieved during this process, the PMW-200 or PMW-EX1R camcorders can operate for up to 360 minutes. Complete details on capacity and camcorder runtimes can be found in the specifications. It features a built-in power supply with a 12 V DC output voltage, even during charging. The BC-U2 can also directly power a camcorder with an output of 12 V DC via a cable while simultaneously charging a battery.
