Product details

The first 70-300 mm E-Mount zoom lens offers outstanding resolution across the entire image area. With a minimum focusing distance of just 0.9 m, stunning, detailed close-ups are possible. The integrated SteadyShot image stabilization compensates for camera shake throughout the zoom range, and a modern linear actuator ensures fast, precise autofocus. Additionally, the lens is dust and moisture resistant. The range of 70 mm to 300 mm covers a wide variety of subjects, from portrait and landscape photography to sports and nature shots. When used with an APS-C camera, 300 mm becomes a 450 mm super-telephoto focal length. Sony's unique G lens strikes a balance between excellent resolution and fabulous background bokeh, opening up new artistic perspectives for photographers. MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) is a measure of how well a lens can reproduce fine details, expressed as a contrast ratio.
