The Sonos Play: 1 is compact yet impressive. It features two perfectly tuned Class D amplifiers, a 3.5" midrange driver for warm and accurate reproduction of medium and low frequencies, and a tweeter for precise high-frequency reproduction. In terms of size and quality, the Play: 1 has no competition.

It is moisture-resistant, making it ideal for wet rooms. The new Play/Pause button replaces the mute function, and it includes a tripod thread for easy wall mounting, which is also suitable for use with the Playbar and subwoofer. The Play: 1 can be configured as a stereo pair and can be easily integrated into existing Sonos setups.

You can play your music directly from iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch (from iOS 6). It has two Class D digital amplifiers (one tweeter and one midrange driver) and supports Internet radio streaming in MP3 and WMA formats. It also supports playlists from services like Rhapsody, iTunes, WinAmp, Windows Media Player, and MusicMatch.
