Product details
ERSA i-CON VARIO 2 MK2 Electronics Station with Vacuum Pump. This multi-channel soldering and desoldering station has a power output of 200 W, operates at 230 V, and is antistatic. The airflow ranges from 2 to 20 l/min, and the station is equipped with an integrated vacuum pump for the ERSA X-Tool.
The i-CON VARIO 2 MK2 provides professional soldering users with two soldering tools that can be used simultaneously. In addition to the new ergonomic hot air tool i-Tool AIR S (200 W), a second soldering tool with 150 W can be operated for traditional soldering or the new Chip Tool Vario desoldering tweezers (80 W). Alternatively, other ERSA soldering tools can also be utilized.
The compact, ESD-safe power supply unit offers, as is customary in the i-CON family, simple and clear operability. Interfaces for ERSA fume extraction systems and preheating plates are standard, as is the easy and secure configuration of the station via a microSD memory card.
The i-Tool AIR S is ergonomic, handy, and powerful. The slim and lightweight handpiece houses a 200 W heating cartridge, allowing for fatigue-free work on various SMD components. The hot air flow can be adjusted directly on the handpiece, and the respective airflow (2 to 20 l/min) is clearly visible on the display of an i-CON VARIO 2 or 4. The airflow can also be precisely dosed for soldering the smallest chip resistors. Different nozzles can be used for optimal heating of the components.
A motion sensor activates the i-Tool AIR S when it is removed from the holder, and with an IR sensor in the handpiece, it can be turned on and off without a switch. The X-Tool is a high-performance desoldering iron with 120 W, specifically designed for the most challenging desoldering tasks of conventional components on heavy circuit boards.
