This new heating technology allows for rapid heating and reheating of the soldering iron from room temperature to 350 °C in about 9 seconds, and from standby (280 °C) in about 3 seconds. The heating element and soldering tip are separated. There is an extremely short distance from the handle to the tip, and a thin, lightweight cable for maximum comfort.
