Sold Out Sniper Elite 4: Italia

Sniper Elite 4 is a third-person stealth shooter that continues the series set during World War II, taking players to the beautiful Italian peninsula—from sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns to impressive Nazi megastructures, as well as dark forests and mountain monasteries inspired by Monte Cassino.

The game is set in Italy during the aftermath of the Africa campaign from Sniper Elite 3, as fascism loses power in the Mediterranean region. Following the award-winning predecessor, Sniper Elite 4 continues the story of World War II, placing the player on the Italian peninsula, complete with sun-soaked coastal villages, gigantic Nazi buildings, intimidating forests, and high-altitude mountain monasteries inspired by the Abbey of Montecassino.

Before the Allied invasion, Karl Fairburne, a secret agent, is dropped into Italy. What begins as an assassination mission quickly evolves into a race to uncover a conspiracy that could destroy the Allies' hopes for a liberated Europe. At the start, you are greeted by a typically Mediterranean landscape of red-tiled roofs. However, this is just a small part of a coastal town and represents only a single region of an early level in the game. Each level of the campaign is absolutely massive and significantly larger than in Sniper Elite 3.

Secret agent and elite sniper Karl Fairburne must fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian resistance to free the country from the scourge of fascism and confront a brand new threat that could end the Allies' resistance in Europe before it has truly begun. If his mission fails, there will be no Operation Overlord, no Day X, and no victory in Europe.
