Handy wiring tester with integrated length measurement and tone generator. Additionally, the device detects PoE up to Class 8, 90W (PoE++) and temporarily applies the corresponding power to test the PoE supply. The device features a 3.5-inch color display with a graphical user interface, making it extremely easy to use and providing easily understandable test results. Application areas include, for example, pre-testing of cabling after installation before final acceptance with a qualifier or certifier, quick testing of patch cables for correct wiring, localization of ports using a tone generator and Softing CP15 cable finder, port identification through 24 RJ45 port identifiers, diagnostics on ports providing PoE up to 90W with detection of the PoE class and applying load to the port being tested, or troubleshooting installations that use PoE.
