Product details

The new SO1 is the entry-level model in SoFlow's product range. It impresses with its compact design and agility. The SO1 features a 300-watt motor and has a range of up to 12 kilometers. Its maximum speed reaches 20 km/h. The scooter effortlessly handles inclines of up to 5%. It is equipped with an electric front brake and a mechanical rear brake, as well as a front light and a brake light. Additionally, the SO1 has a Bluetooth module that allows it to connect with the SoFlow app. The app tracks the distance traveled and provides the user with further information about their rides. A display on the handlebars provides the rider with standard information on battery capacity, speed, Bluetooth, and lights. Furthermore, the scooter can be locked using the app.

Road approval Switzerland

The provisions applicable from 1 July 2015 class self-balancing and electric scooters as a subcategory of mopeds. As regards traffic regulations, they are now treated equally to light motor vehicles (up to 20 km/h). Therefore, neither a licence plate nor a separate vehicle insurance is required for these vehicles. They may be driven from 14 years of age with a moped licence and without a licence from 16 years of age. Both the use of bicycle lanes and driving on roads is permitted.
