Snowsky Echo

The FiiO Snowsky ECHO is a compact digital audio player that combines modern hi-res technology with a deliberately nostalgic design. Inspired by classic cassette players, the device features a precisely crafted housing made from a 6000 series aluminum-magnesium alloy. It is manufactured using CNC technology, offering a high-quality feel and excellent stability. A 2.39-inch IPS color display with a resolution of 222 x 480 pixels ensures clear representation of album covers, track information, and animated retro interfaces, such as VU meters or rotating cassettes. Inside, a powerful dual-DAC architecture based on two Cirrus Logic CS43198 converters processes signals with high dynamics and extremely low distortion values. The output stage includes a classic 3.5mm headphone jack and a balanced 4.4mm socket, delivering up to 260 mW of power per channel, making it suitable for both sensitive in-ear monitors and more demanding headphones. It supports high-resolution audio formats up to DSD256 and PCM signals up to 24-bit/192 kHz. In addition to local playback, the player can also be used as an external USB DAC for computers or smartphones via USB-C, serving as a high-quality external sound solution. Bluetooth transmission expands its usability with wireless headphones or speakers. The built-in 8GB memory can be expanded via microSD cards up to 256GB, providing ample space for extensive lossless music libraries. With a battery life of up to 14 hours, a parametric equalizer, support for in-line remote controls, and an integrated TXT e-book reader, the Snowsky ECHO merges classic music player ideals with modern audiophile technology in a compact format.
