The SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Half Cage for Sony FX3 / FX30 is designed to protect the camera and provide attachment points for accessories. This modular cage consists of a top plate with NATO rail and an L-shaped cage. The NATO rail is attached to the top with two 1/4"-20 screws and can be removed to allow installation of the original XLR handle. The L-shaped cage is secured with a 1/4"-20 screw on the left side and bottom to prevent twisting, with a guard to prevent scratches. The self-developed and patented quick release system (called HawkLock) covers the Cold Shoe, NATO rail and Arca-Swiss plate and allows a fluid and self-locking attachment. It is also compatible with traditional accessories for Cold Shoe, NATO clamp and Arca-Swiss system. In addition, the cage is equipped with 1/4"-20 threaded holes, a 3/8"-16 ARRI localisation hole, loops for straps and a QD socket for extensions.
