Slamtec RPLIDAR A3M1 360° 10 - 25 m

The RPLIDAR A3M1 from SLAMTEC offers an impressively large measurement range with a high sampling rate and compact dimensions. The A3M1 laser scanner performs 360-degree scans in no time. Thanks to the freely available SLAMTEC SDK and the ROS interface, this LiDAR can be used for a variety of applications.

Moreover, the A3M1 likely stands out as the only LiDAR in its category to offer both an indoor and an outdoor mode. When configured in the so-called "Enhanced Mode," the RPLIDAR operates at the maximum possible measurement range and sampling rate. In contrast, when selecting the "Outdoor Mode," a significant portion of the processing power is dedicated to error correction due to incoming daylight, ensuring reliable measurement values.

Connectivity
The RPLIDAR A3M1 comes standard with a USB UART adapter, which allows for connecting the LiDAR to a computer, Intel NUC, or Raspberry Pi while also providing power. If a development board without a USB port is used, the USB UART adapter can be disconnected, and measurement data can be obtained from the UART interface.
