Slamtec RPLIDAR A3M1 360° 10 - 25 m

The RPLIDAR A3M1 from SLAMTEC offers an impressively large measurement range with a high sampling rate and compact dimensions. The A3M1 laser scanner creates 360-degree scans in no time. Thanks to the freely available SLAMTEC SDK and the ROS interface, this LiDAR can be used for a wide range of applications.

Moreover, the A3M1 likely stands out as the only LiDAR in its category that offers both an indoor and an outdoor mode. When configured in the so-called "Enhanced Mode," the RPLIDAR operates with the maximum possible measurement range and sampling rate. In contrast, when the "Outdoor Mode" is selected, a significant portion of the computing power is dedicated to error correction caused by incoming daylight, ensuring reliable measurement values.

Connectivity
The RPLIDAR A3M1 comes standard with a USB UART adapter, which allows the LiDAR to be connected to a computer, Intel NUC, or Raspberry Pi while providing power. If a development board without a USB port is used, the USB UART adapter can be disconnected, and the measurement data can be obtained from the UART interface.
