The stand is protected against water, dirt and dust (up to the upper edge of the cold protection handles). In addition, it has a newly designed locking mechanism for comfortable operation and a levelling level for exact alignment. The tripod tubes are made of 10 layers of carbon (weight reduction, stability gain, low vibration).

Another special feature of this tripod is that one leg can be removed and used as a monopod. The center column consists of two parts of different size. The short piece can be used on the tripod for shots close to the ground. With the long part of the center column the monopod can be extended to a height of 177cm.

The legs can be swivelled up to 180° via 3 fixed locking steps, so that the tripod is only 52cm high when folded. Each leg consists of 4 sections with 3 sealed ring locks. Rubber feet and metal spikes allow the tripod to stand securely on any surface.

A stabilising hook on the centre column is part of the Sirui standard, as are the cold protection handles and the transport bag. The bag strap can also be used as a tripod strap.
