The SIRUI 50mm T2.9 1.6x is an anamorphic lens designed for full-frame cameras. This lens features a 1.6x compression ratio. When shooting in a 16:9 aspect ratio, it achieves an impressively wide 2.8:1.

The 50mm focal length with a 1.6x compression ratio provides a horizontal field of view equivalent to a 31mm focal length on a standard lens.

In addition to creating a wide aspect ratio, the anamorphic lens produces an oval bokeh effect and horizontal light flares that are difficult to achieve in other ways.
