Given the steadily increasing popularity of SSDs as primary storage devices in PCs, both capacity and performance continue to evolve. However, this also leads to rising operating temperatures. This has repeatedly resulted in overheating and throttling, or even complete shutdowns of SSDs, especially in the M.2 variant with a smaller surface area. To combat these types of temperature issues, SilverStone developed the TP02-M2 cooling kit, which includes a high-quality aluminum heatsink and custom high-efficiency thermal pads to provide a simple and effective cooling solution for M.2 SSDs.
