ETSI, FCC. Thunderboard Sense IoT Sensor Board. The Thunderboard Sense is a board equipped with a variety of sensors and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity for the Internet of Things. It is designed to assist in the development of battery-powered IoT devices based on the Silicon Labs EFR32 Mighty Gecko Wireless System-on-Chip. The kit supports proprietary stacks and standard wireless protocols such as ZigBee, Thread, and Bluetooth Low Energy. EFR32 Mighty Gecko ARM Cortex-M4F Wireless SoC, 2.4 GHz. The EFM8 Sleepy Bee MCU provides precise power management in ultra-low power operation. 2.4 GHz chip antenna, 8 Mbit SPI flash memory, Si7021 sensor for relative humidity/temperature, Si1133 UV index/ambient light sensor, BMP280 barometric pressure sensor, CCS811 gas sensor for indoor air quality, ICM-20648 6-axis inertial sensor, SPV1840 MEMS microphone, 4 x user RGB LEDs, 2 user push buttons, reset button, integrated debugger, SEGGER J-Link, MicroUSB connector for a virtual COM port and debugging access, Mini-Simplicity connector for AEM and Packet Trace with external debugger from Silicon Labs, 20 x expansion branch pads, CR2032 coin cell holder, external battery connector. Power sources include USB, coin cells, and external batteries. Operating temperature range: 0 to +70 °C. Dimensions: 45 x 30 mm. Software support: Simplicity Studio, Energy Profiler, Network Analyzer. Note: Coin cell battery not included.
