By minimizing vignetting and preventing color fringing in front of and behind the focus point, a very natural bokeh is produced.

To combat chromatic longitudinal aberrations that are difficult to correct even in post-processing, SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements are used, ensuring high image quality across the entire focus range. This results in sharp and high-contrast image reproduction.

The HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) provides a quiet and very fast autofocus function. With the improved autofocus algorithm, a smoother autofocus operation is achieved. Manual intervention is also possible at any time, allowing for sensitive sharpness adjustments by simply rotating the focus ring.
