Bei diesem Objektiv muss man leichte Abstriche hinsichtlich des Autofokus machen, darüber hinaus ist das Sigma 1,4 / 35 mm DG HSM (A) jedoch eine prima Alternative. Es kann hier mit einer sehr starken Ausstattung aufwarten, die Auflösung ist sehr hoch und auch die Güte des Objektivs ist gut.

Bis auf die schwache Auflösung an den Bildrändern liefert das Objektiv eine gute Auflösung mit knackiger Schärfe und hervorragender Bildmitte. Zudem ist es mit vielen Funktionen exzellent ausgestattet und lässt sich außerdem tadellos bedienen. Das Gehäuse ist auf hohem Niveau und wurde ausschließlich mit hochwertigen Materialien gefertigt.
