Wildlife and sports photographers will appreciate both the aperture and the focal length range. Four SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements ensure outstanding image quality at all settings. The practical integrated LC display informs the photographer about the set distance and focal length. The filter drawer accommodates 72mm filters and, due to its rotating mount, also allows for the effective use of a circular polarizer. A lithium-ion battery powers the zoom and autofocus, and the appropriate charger is included. Additionally, the lens package includes the specially designed APO Tele Converter 2.0x EX DG II, which transforms the zoom into a 400-1000mm F5.6 ultra-telephoto zoom. Thanks to the special optical adjustment, this combination also maintains high imaging performance.
