As expected, the very wide-angle 10x zoom shows weaknesses at open aperture. However, stopping down by one stop usually results in good resolution values. If you can put up with the slight optical limitations, you get a very versatile zoom that cuts a fine figure, especially as a compact and lightweight travelling companion.
Of course, you can't expect miracles in terms of image quality with such a 10x zoom, which has to cover everything from wide-angle to telephoto. Chromatic aberration is clearly visible, especially at short focal lengths. However, this can easily be corrected afterwards using software...
