The size of the subject and the framing can be easily adjusted by rotating the zoom ring. The scale achieved, depending on the set focal length, is conveniently displayed on the lens barrel.

For the first time, the new material "TSC" (Thermally Stable Composite), which has low contractility especially at different temperatures and retains its structure, has been used in the production of a lens housing. Compared to the commonly used polycarbonate, TSC has about 25% higher elasticity. Due to its low thermal shrinkage, the material has a high affinity for metal parts, which supports high-quality product manufacturing. TSC also allows for thinner components such as the focus or zoom ring to be produced.
