It offers a range of different perspectives, from wide-angle to telephoto (18-200mm - equivalent to 27-300mm in 35mm full-frame format), and it also covers the macro range. For added convenience when photographing close-ups, indoor scenes, and night shots handheld, the OS (Optical Stabilizer) is included, along with the fast HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor).

The latest technologies have been incorporated, making it a recommended standard zoom lens of the latest generation.

Im Großen und Ganzen handelt es sich bei dem Sigma um ein gutes Objektiv, das in den meisten Aspekten zu überzeugen vermag. Die Bildqualität macht einen positiven Eindruck mit einem besonderen Lob für die Helligkeitsverteilung und die Reflexionen. Nur die eher mäßige Bildstabilisierung und die unterdurchschnittliche Leistung bei Falschlicht ziehen den Schnitt hier etwas nach unten...
