Source: Digitec GalaxusAuch wenn es im Test insgesamt noch zu einer guten Note reicht, bei seiner Ausstattung erntet das Sigma EX 4,5-5,6 / 12-24 mm DG HSM II deutliche Kritik. Dafür ist die Auflösung gut, die Objektivgüte hoch und auch beim Autofokus kann man nur leichte Schwächen ausmachen.
Neben der sehr guten Ausstattung samt Sonnenblende sowie einem sehr leisen Motor, kann das Nikon auch mit der hohen Auflösung punkten. Zwar ist eine Verzeichnung bei 14 mm zu erkennen aber das schmälert den sehr guten Gesamteindruck eher gering. An der Fertigungsqualität gibt es nichts zu deuteln.
Sowohl innen als auch außen ist die Sigma hochwertig verarbeitet und macht einen nahezu perfekten Eindruck. Außer an einigen Randbereichen konnten im Test kaum Schwachstellen bei der Aulösungsleistung festgestellt werden. Zudem ist sie auch für extreme Witterungen bis zu -25° geeignet.
