The Shure Aonic 40 is a worthy competitor to wireless headphones from manufacturers such as Sony and Bose. They offer an overall excellent sound experience and impress with unobtrusive noise cancellation.
The Shure Aonic 40 is a successful over-ear with a well-separated soundstage at an upmarket price. The sound pattern can be conveniently adjusted to your own preferences via an app.
Almost 30 hours of battery life, that's quite something. But I also liked the feel of the Aonic 40. Sound, ANC and transparency mode were all right, but others can do better. For the price, it was a decent performance overall.
