The 545SD is a dynamic instrument microphone that is referred to as a classic. It is the direct predecessor of the legendary SM57.

The 545SD shares many features with its famous successor. The sound is similar to that of the SM57, but with a bit more high-end.

The cardioid pattern provides protection against feedback. Like all Shure products, this classic is also built to be extremely robust and can easily withstand the rigors of the stage.

For digital recordings directly on a computer, the 545SD can be quickly and easily connected to a computer's USB port using the X2u XLR-to-USB interface.
