The Shelly BLU Gateway is a small USB dongle that serves as a gateway between Shelly BLU devices and the Shelly Cloud. When Shelly Gen-1 devices are to be used with Shelly BLU sensors, the Shelly BLU Gateway can act as a gateway to the Shelly Cloud, thus connecting to your existing Gen-1 devices. This way, an upgrade to Shelly Plus or Pro devices is not necessary. The device also enables local control with immediate response through scripting.
