The SM1 from Sharkoon is a solid lavalier microphone made of metal, suitable for a variety of applications such as lectures and presentations, video production, podcasts, and streaming, or as an ideal complement to headphones. With its lightweight and compact dimensions, the SM1 can be discreetly attached to clothing or headphone cables with just a few simple steps. The robust clip ensures reliable cable management, and the 250 cm cable length provides maximum freedom of movement.
The SM1 features a unidirectional pickup pattern, specifically designed for crystal-clear voice recordings. Sound arriving from the front is prioritized, while sound coming from the sides is included for a more immersive sound experience. Sound from the rear is dampened and not recorded. Additionally, the SM1 is equipped with a foam windscreen to reduce wind and handling noise, which can be easily removed if necessary. The SM1 connects via a 3.5 mm microphone plug (TRS) to all standard PCs and laptops with a corresponding microphone jack.
