Product details
As the second mechanical keyboard in the popular Skiller series, the Skiller Mech SGK2 from Sharkoon focuses on clear lines and flexibility. Its reinforced metal surface is just as robust and grippy as that of the SGK1. However, its design is straightforward and ultra-compact—deliberately omitting the number pad and wrist rest. The SGK2 is made for tough use, whether at home, at work, or in eSports. All key functions can be used without the need to install any software. In addition to N-Key rollover, anti-ghosting keys, gaming mode, and function keys with preset multimedia actions, this gaming keyboard features a practical on-the-fly macro recording function. Macros can be recorded easily without software with just a few steps. The five macro keys on the side allow for convenient access to the recorded macros at any time. The SGK2 also has a classic white backlighting that can be adjusted to three brightness levels or turned off completely.
Like all mechanical keyboards in the Skiller series, the Skiller Mech SGK2 offers a choice of three professional Kailh switches with a lifespan of at least 50 million keystrokes. Heavy typists particularly favor the blue switches, which provide tactile feedback and also have an acoustic quality reminiscent of traditional typewriters. Those who can forgo sound will enjoy the brown switches, which are tactile but silent. Gamers who want to immerse themselves in their games without distractions will prefer the completely feedback-free red switches.
