Shanling UP5

The Shanling UP5 is a portable USB DAC and headphone amplifier with MQA support that enhances your music with a transparent, balanced, and detailed sound across the entire frequency range. Connect your headphone cable to the UP5 and pair the UP5 via Bluetooth with a smartphone or tablet. You can then enjoy high-quality wireless sound. The UP5 can also be used as a USB DAC and connected to the source device via a USB cable. Whether you need a balanced 2.5 mm, 4.4 mm, or an unbalanced 3.5 mm headphone output, Shanling has equipped the UP5 with all three connections to accommodate nearly all headphones. Additionally, the UP5 features a rated output power of up to 240 mW at 32 ohms, making it capable of driving power-hungry headphones with ease. Conveniently, the UP5 has a dial for adjusting the volume and navigating through the menu options. High-quality components and all of Shanling's expertise have been incorporated into the UP5 to make it a user-friendly sound enhancer. A QCC5120 Bluetooth chip ensures lossless playback, stable Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and support for high-resolution codecs such as LDAC, aptX HD, and AAC. Furthermore, the two ESS9212C DAC chips provide a clear, distortion-free listening experience and excellent energy efficiency. Settings such as volume, equalizer, gain, codec in use, charging status on/off, and auto mode are displayed on the 0.96-inch OLED screen and can be quickly accessed and adjusted using the volume control on the side of the device. Additionally, the Shanling Eddict Player app for Android and iOS offers further control over settings and sound preferences such as Bluetooth codec, filters, gain levels, equalizer, and more.
