Product details
The Shanling ONIX Zenith XDA20 is a top-tier desktop DAC and headphone amplifier that embodies audiophile excellence. As part of the ONIX-Zenith series, the device integrates seamlessly with the XST20-SACD transport and other components, forming the centerpiece of an uncompromising high-end chain. At its core are two ESS-ES9039PRO DAC chips, complemented by the proprietary Brighton architecture featuring eight OPA1611 operational amplifiers, allowing for exceptionally transparent signal processing. It supports PCM data up to 768 kHz/32 bit and DSD up to DSD512, ensuring a full realization of audiophile content. The power supply is provided by two powerful Talema toroidal transformers, buffered by four Vishay capacitors. The XDA20 offers a variety of digital inputs, including USB, I2S with FPGA-controlled pinout selection, as well as AES/EBU, BNC, coaxial, and optical, along with flexible analog outputs via RCA and balanced XLR. The amplifier unit, featuring a 6.3 mm headphone output based on the TPA6120, delivers up to 1620 mW at 32 ohms, enabling the operation of high-impedance headphones with maximum dynamics and minimal distortion. A THD+N value of only 0.0003 percent and a dynamic range of up to 127 dB demonstrate the technical finesse of the system. The CNC-machined aluminum housing ensures maximum mechanical stability and gives the device a noble, functional aesthetic. Operation can be done via a 3.4-inch touch display, a precise rotary knob, or the included remote control. With an output impedance of only 3.3 ohms and a balanced output level of 4.2 V, the XDA20 excels even in the most demanding signal paths. Designed for audiophile listeners with the highest standards, the XDA20 offers a future-proof platform for lossless, detailed, and dynamically balanced sound reproduction.
