Shanling M8T

The Shanling M8T is a high-resolution player featuring a dual amplifier. It includes both a transistor and a tube amplifier. The open Android operating system allows for the installation of streaming apps of your choice, whether it's Tidal, Apple Music, Spotify, Qobuz, or others. The M8T offers 128 GB of storage and a MicroSD card slot that is compatible with cards up to 2 TB. To play your own music from internal storage or the memory card, the Shanling music app is pre-installed. This app provides a variety of settings and playback modes. The device is operated via a 6-inch touchscreen display. For music control, the M8T has buttons on the side of the case and a dial for easy and precise volume adjustment. Four chips from the renowned manufacturer AKM serve as the digital-to-analog converters. Two AK 4499EX reference DACs, supported by two AK4191EQ chips, ensure detailed conversion of music files up to 786 kHz / 24 Bit and DSD1024. For headphones, there is a balanced 4.4 mm headphone output and an unbalanced 3.5 mm headphone output available. The built-in amplifiers can operate in three modes, depending on music style and preference. The tube modes make the M8T a special and versatile high-resolution player. There is a triode mode for classic tube sound and an ultra-linear mode that blends high resolution with relaxed tube warmth. In high-gain mode, the M8T has a maximum output power of up to 6 V / 1.125 mW, making it capable of driving power-hungry headphones. Thanks to an output impedance of less than 1 ohm, sensitive in-ear headphones can also be connected without issues. Bluetooth 5.0 is included as both a transmitter and a receiver. For internet connectivity, the M8T supports WiFi at 2.4 GHz or 5.0 GHz.
