Shanling EM7

The Shanling EM7 is a streamer, headphone amplifier, and DAC all in one, allowing music playback from various sources to headphones or active speakers. The EM7 is equipped with a music-optimized Android operating system, providing easy access to online streaming services such as Tidal, Spotify, Apple Music, Qobuz, Deezer, and Amazon Music. The EM7 can connect to the internet wirelessly via WiFi or wired through a LAN cable.

For headphone connectivity, the Shanling EM7 features 3.5 mm, 4.4 mm, 6.3 mm, and XLR headphone outputs on the front of the device, making it compatible with nearly any headphone. The powerful amplifier of the EM7, with an output power of up to 7 watts at 32 ohms, can also drive very demanding headphones.

Operation is either via the touchscreen display on the EM7, which can be tilted for good readability up to a 60° angle, or through the Shanling Eddict Player app using a smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android) as a remote control. For integrating your audio equipment, the Shanling EM7 includes coaxial and optical inputs and outputs, USB ports, as well as RCA and XLR outputs.

Wireless connectivity is also well-covered: the EM7 is equipped with WiFi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and two-way Bluetooth, delivering Hi-Res certified sound both wired and wirelessly. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor ensures responsive operation of all apps and functions, as well as smooth browsing through extensive media libraries. For an energetic, detailed, and crisp sound at an audiophile level, the ESS ES9038Pro Digital-to-Analog Converter is employed.
