Day One Edition content: In addition to the game, it includes the Gerald Robotnik Diary - a 28-page notebook in which Gerald recorded his most personal thoughts and drawings as he created Shadow the Hedgehog and the ARK space station.

This version contains a code on the cartridge that requires the full version to be downloaded via the internet.
