Through electromagnetic remapping, a technology developed by Scuf, "on-the-fly" remapping is possible. This feature allows the player to reassign the rear paddles to most face buttons (X, O, Square, Triangle, L3, R3, left D-pad, right D-pad) using the Scuf EMR Mag Key.

Three core functions form the trigger system: the adjustable hair trigger mechanism, quick trigger stops, and trigger extenders.
