The Scotch Packaging Tape 309 is a 50-micron thick all-purpose tape made of polypropylene with acrylic adhesive, demonstrating reliability in cost-sensitive applications with low weight demands. It is specifically designed to avoid the typical unwinding noise, withstand cold temperatures, be easy to apply, and be smoothly dispensed by hand with a handheld dispenser or the 3M-Matic carton sealing machine.

Recommended applications include: general industry, food and beverages, applications in cold temperatures, cartons exposed to UV light, and aging-sensitive packaging. The Packaging Tape 309 is coated with acrylic adhesive. It adheres immediately and uniformly to challenging surfaces such as cardboard with a high percentage of recycled material. The tape adheres well to edges and is tear-resistant.
