A detailed installation and operating manual is included with each device. It must be strictly followed. In particular, section 3.5 (Installation, positioning, and electrical intermediate phases) must be observed. XU2 S, type 2, single beam system. The XPS-CM safety module, used in conjunction with the single beam safety devices XU2S, creates a Type 2 safety light curtain that complies with the IEC 61496-1 standard. The flexible design allows for the connection of 4 light beam devices that can protect an area up to 1200 mm high and 8 m wide (EN999). Automatic self-check every 5 ms. The integrated shutdown function allows the light beam device to be deactivated by an external sensor. Single beam sensors (for the shutdown function) can be ordered separately. Ideal for applications on loading areas. Semiconductor auxiliary output (from the module) PNP 20 mA/24 Vdc, 2 normally closed safety outputs.
