The SMS U2 is used together with the wind sensor SW 4 and the light sensor SL 2 for safe and comfortable control of awnings or outdoor blinds. At high sunlight intensity, the awning is automatically extended, and when the brightness decreases, it is retracted (this automatic function can also be disabled). In case of high wind speeds, the awning is automatically retracted. Push buttons for direct open/close operation can be connected. By pressing and holding a control button, the shading automation can be temporarily disabled. Wind monitoring always takes precedence, ensuring system safety even in the event of incorrect operation. Also available as a modular version SMS 1.
