Product details
The SR-M3 features a headphone output, allowing you to always monitor your sound, even if your camera lacks a headphone jack. An additional 3.5 mm microphone input enables the connection of a second microphone. If your camera has only a single microphone input, you can use two with the SR-M3. You can connect a plug-on lavalier microphone, such as the Saramonic SR-XLM1, or an additional shotgun mic, like the Saramonic SR-PMIC1. The SR-M3 also includes a +10dB boost switch, which allows you to lower the noisy preamp of your camera to capture much cleaner sounding audio and record objects from greater distances. This is an excellent sounding shotgun microphone that delivers rich and clear sound. It is compact, has a built-in camera shoe mount, and the wired output cable can’t be left behind after a recording. The built-in mount features a metal 1/4 20 tripod thread, providing you with even more mounting options, and the integrated shock mount isolates the microphone from vibrations. A low-cut switch on the back of the SR-M3 makes dialogue clearer and eliminates unwanted noises like the low rumble of vehicles. The additional headphone output of the SR-M3 can also be useful if your camera has a headphone jack. The headphone output of the SR-M3 is set to a pleasantly high volume and is likely louder and easier to hear than your camera's headphone output.
