Samyang XEEN 135mm T2.2 FF Cine Canon

The fast cinema lens Samyang 135mm T2.2 XEEN is full frame and internally focusing, making it especially suitable for close-ups or portraits due to its small angle of view. Like all XEEN Cinema Prime lenses, the XEEN 135mm T2.2 has a resolution of 4K and shares the same design features with other lenses in this line. This includes identical overall length, body diameter, and fixed gear distance for the aperture and focus ring across all models. This consistency allows for quick and easy lens changes, whether in a rig or on a tripod, even with a follow focus system installed.

As with typical cinema lenses, this XEEN lens features a rasterless and continuously adjustable aperture with laterally readable aperture values and a distance scale, along with gear rings for focusing using Follow Focus.

The compact telephoto lens offers excellent performance in low-light conditions and precise manual control of focus and depth of field. It delivers high-quality film material with clear contrasts and impressive colors. With a full frame image circle and high speed, XEEN lenses meet the demands of professional users.

High-quality mechanics and processing are evident in the design. The 135mm T2.2 XEEN can also be used with cameras that have Super-35mm, APS-C, and APS-H sensors. The sharpness of this lens is remarkable even at full aperture and can be finely controlled via the 200° long focus.

The lens construction consists of 11 glass elements in 7 groups, housed in a robust aluminum tube. The necessary settings on the Follow-Focus or aperture ring are infinitely variable and compatible with all Follow-Focus systems featuring a 0.8 mm gear rim. The 11 aperture blades of the 135 mm Cinema lens ensure an almost circular bokeh.
