This groundbreaking lens series, inheriting Samyang's incredible video quality, will help independent filmmakers and low-budget directors expand their creative horizons and is their first lens.

The VDSLR MK2 set includes 4 of the most commonly used focal lengths: 24 mm T1.5, 35 mm T1.5, 50 mm T1.5, and 85 mm T1.5. The new models not only offer the popular image quality and fast T-stop values of the existing VDSLR series but now also feature weather sealing, 9 aperture blades, and the focal lengths are visible on both sides to facilitate professional use. The series is highly versatile and available in 7 camera mounts.

The new VDSLR MK2 series launches with 4 focal lengths: 24 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, and 85 mm. The 14 mm T3.1 will also be available in the first quarter of 2021. These lenses provide angles of view essential for all creative or commercial projects. All 4 lenses are available and fully compatible with 7 camera mounts: Canon EF, Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon F, Canon M, Fuji X, and MFT. They are suitable for both DSLR and mirrorless systems and are ready to support all types of filmmakers around the globe.

The compact size of Samyang's VDSLR lenses makes them perfect for handheld and gimbal shots. The VDSLR 50 mm T1.5 MK2 is only 7.47 cm long and weighs just 525.8 g, yet it comes fully equipped with de-clicked aperture and focus rings. The large depth of field range of over 130° allows cinematographers to focus their subjects precisely and accurately, making the footage appear more professional than with autofocus photo lenses.
