Versatile telephoto lens with high brightness. With a lightweight telephoto focal length on APS-C, the 50mm is the compact lens for mirrorless system cameras. It is versatile and particularly suitable for portrait and landscape photography. Especially shots in low light or images with shallow depth of field can be ideally realized thanks to a high brightness of F1:1.2. With an angle of view of approximately 31°, the lens produces images from a natural perspective. The aperture can be adjusted from 1.2 to 16, and the focus adjustment is smooth and easy to operate.

High-quality optics. The lens features a 9-blade diaphragm that allows for an almost circular opening, ensuring beautiful bokeh. A particularly high-quality optical construction made of 9 multi-coated glass elements achieves excellent imaging results. Additionally, 2 aspherical lenses provide the best possible correction of chromatic aberrations. Side light and lens reflections are prevented by a lens hood, which can also be removed if necessary. The robust lens is internally focusing, meaning the length of the optics does not change. Focusing is done manually.

Using an APS-C lens on a full-frame sensor camera. Lenses designed for APS-C sensor cameras can partially (mainly using an adapter) be used on full-frame sensor cameras. However, due to the significantly smaller image circle of APS-C lenses, the edges will appear black. Therefore, the usable area of the image taken with a full-frame camera corresponds to that of a camera with an APS-C sensor. The images must be cropped in post-processing. While it is possible to use APS-C lenses on full-frame cameras, it is not recommended.
