Product details
The Samyang 35mm F 1.4 wide angle lens impresses with its speed and image quality. As usual with Samyang, the focus and aperture are adjusted manually, which makes it possible to set the sweet spot exactly where you want it. The light intensity of 1:1.4 is ideal for photos in poor light conditions. Last but not least, the potential for cropping is enormous. At open aperture, the exposed object is surrounded by a creamy bokeh.
A 35mm fixed focal length is often called a reportage lens because it allows the photographer to dive deeper into a scene. In this way, the photographer is able to give the viewer the feeling of being right on the spot. But also for landscape photography the picture angle of 63° (40° with APS-C) is ideal.
The 12 lenses are arranged in 10 groups and are built into a robust housing. Due to the aspherically ground lens and the two highly refractive glasses in the lens, imaging errors are reduced to a minimum, even at open aperture. The frame is made of metal and rounds off the valuable impression of this light giant. Due to the internal focusing, the compact dimensions of the lens remain unchanged and leave no doubt that this is an elaborately produced product that needs no hiding.
