The lenses of the Samyang 35 mm F1.2 ED AS UMC CS are multi-coated. The construction consists of 9 lenses (including one ED lens and two aspherical lenses) arranged in 7 groups, all housed in a tube that is only 74 mm long and 68 mm wide. Focusing is manual, giving photographers full control over sharpness. If more depth of field is needed, the lens can be stopped down to F16. The system accommodates sensors ranging from MFT to APS-C size and is compatible with Fujifilm XF, MFT, Sony E-Mount, and Canon M.

9 aperture blades create nearly circular highlights in the out-of-focus areas. The bokeh impresses once again with its creaminess, delighting both beginners and professionals alike.
