The Samyang 1.4/21mm lens supports users in creatively capturing exceptional perspectives, even at close distances, thanks to its minimum focusing distance of just 28 centimeters.

As is typical with Samyang, focusing and aperture adjustment are done manually. The already very compact dimensions of this all-metal light giant remain unchanged during focusing due to its internal focusing mechanism. On APS-C cameras, the full-frame equivalent focal length is approximately 31.5 millimeters, while on Micro Four Thirds cameras, it is 42 millimeters.

With a high aperture of f/1.4, successful images can also be achieved under challenging lighting conditions. Among the eight glass elements arranged in seven groups are three multi-coated aspherical lenses and one ED glass element, which effectively reduce chromatic aberrations. The large rotation angle and precise mechanics allow for pinpoint focusing and creative manipulation of the depth of field.
