Product details
The light-sensitive Samyang 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC lens is suitable for MFT, APS-C, and full-frame sensors, and impresses with its brightness of 1:2.0. This manually focused prime lens offers vibrant colors and a flattering, buttery smooth bokeh. The 9 diaphragm blades are responsible for creating an almost round aperture. These are just a few points that qualify the Samyang 135 f/2.0 as an ideal portrait lens. The light reserves are sufficient to achieve good results even in poor lighting conditions. As a "short telephoto," it is also interesting for journalists and wildlife photographers.
The internally focusing lens consists of 11 elements in 7 groups. The glasses are multi-coated and, together with the ED lens, provide outstanding imaging performance and sharp contrasts. The lens feels great in hand and does not noticeably alter the balance when focusing due to its design. When shooting wide open, the Samyang 135 f/2.0 allows for three-dimensional separation and envelops the photographed subject with a creamy blur, like few other lenses in this class. The metal housing adds to the premium feel of this prime lens.
