The lens puts the subject in the right light. Thanks to the high speed of 1:2.8 you have enough reserves even under difficult lighting conditions. Due to the short focal length and the low magnification, it is characterised by a very large depth of field. Let your creativity run free.

Thanks to the multiple coating of all lenses and the use of two aspherical lenses, ghost images and reflections are effectively reduced. The three ED lenses ensure sharp and high-contrast images, even with the aperture open. Colour fringing is also a thing of the past. The 7 aperture blades, which are almost circular when the aperture is closed, bring out the star-shaped light beam clearly and beautifully. The high-quality aluminium barrel, the close-up focusing distance of approx. 20 centimetres and the included detachable sunshade round off the excellent overall package of this lens. Save yourself time in post-processing. A lot of lens aberrations like distortion, edge blur or vignetting occur on the outer areas of the image. If you use a lens calculated for full format on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not used. This way you get the maximum quality. Additional post-processing time to correct lens errors is therefore not necessary.
