  • PositiveLong-lasting battery (12 hours)
  • Positiveexcellent display
  • NegativeNo update to Android 4 yet

Only the older Android version 3.2 is currently available on the Galaxy Tab; unfortunately, we still have to wait for the update to 4.0. The bright display, fast operating speed and long-lasting battery win points here.

  • NegativeAverage battery life
  • NegativeFew connections

With a slightly different look, the tablet is above all a lightweight with a very thin casing. The display is particularly impressive with its high brightness, great contrasts and wide viewing angle. Operation via the touchscreen is very smooth, although the tablet loses points for battery life, few connections and the lack of a card reader.

  • Negative3 megapixel camera

Although the Galaxy Tab only comes in a plastic casing, it still feels great in the hand and doesn't have to hide from the test winner. The display with its neutral colour reproduction and excellent contrasts, as well as the smooth operation, are equally positive. Only the somewhat outdated camera and the old Android version are cause for criticism.

  • PositiveUpdate to Android 4.0 announced

The Galaxy Tab performs very solidly across the board and shows no significant weaknesses. Powerful and flexible, the tablet makes a good impression on the move at all times.
