Samson SM4

The Samson SM4 is a 4-channel, half-rack line mixer that can be easily integrated into any installation or commercial sound system. Perfect for health clubs, gyms, restaurants, nightclubs, and schools, the SM4 features a balanced microphone channel with 2-band EQ, voice-over priority ducking, stereo line-level inputs, and Bluetooth and Samson wireless connectivity with Stage XPD. With the SM4, you can mix up to four crystal-clear channels of audio. The mixer's studio mic channel features 2-band EQ (bass and treble) to adjust the sound of the mic without affecting the music. The music channel has RCA inputs on the rear panel, as well as front-mounted stereo 1/4" and 1/8" inputs for easy connection of mobile devices. Bluetooth connectivity lets you stream music wirelessly, while a USB port allows you to integrate an optional device from the Samson Stage XPD Series Wireless System. Whether you're leading a group exercise or making announcements at a restaurant, intelligibility is key. The voiceover feature lets you lower the music (up to 30 dB ducking) while speaking through a microphone or using the XPD wireless input. The voiceover threshold control lets you set the hold time for active ducking from 0.5 to 3 seconds. For fixed installations, the SM4 can be installed with the included rackmount kit. It can be mounted side-by-side with Samson CR88, CR288, or CR99 radio receivers. The main volume control located on the back of the mixer allows you to adjust the overall volume level of the mixer and prevent users from playing too loud on the system and damaging your speakers. It also has stereo XLR and RCA outputs and a mono/stereo switch for use with a mono sound system.
