Samson MLI1

The Samson MLI1 is a passive isolation box with line level designed to eliminate hum and interference caused by ground loops and to convert unbalanced signals into balanced signals for long cable runs. The MLI1 combines top-notch audio circuitry with a durable, roadworthy construction, providing high-quality signal connection solutions for live, broadcast, and studio applications. The MLI1 features Samson's STL transformer, delivering an extended, linear frequency response of 10 Hz to 35 kHz (± 0.2 dB) with extremely low distortion. The transformer isolates the input signal from the output signal, effectively removing any DC noise. The ground lift switch disconnects the grounding from the input and output connectors to prevent hum from ground loops. The MLI1 is housed in a 14-gauge steel enclosure, capable of withstanding the rigors of demanding live tours. The rigid outer shell protects all internal connections, switches, and solder joints of the MLI1 from failure, ensuring quiet and reliable performance.
