Samson MDA1 Mono Active Direct Box

The MDA1 from Samson is an active mono direct box that offers top-notch sound circuitry in a sturdy metal housing. The DI box can be powered either by batteries or phantom power, allowing for the transmission of balanced signals, such as from a guitar or bass, for live and studio situations. The Samson MDA1 delivers a consistent frequency response, regardless of the output impedance of the connected instrument. This makes it ideal for instruments with passive pickups that have very high impedances. The MDA1 direct box ensures that the highs in the instrument's frequency response are preserved.
