The Dry Back Contact carrying system features a padded EVA back panel and 3D ventilation channels that support air circulation and breathability on the back and ensure that it stays dry. This prevents sweaty shoulders and back and the associated risk of overcooling. The flat, split shoulder straps keep the backpack close to the body and ensure maximum freedom of movement. The Ortles Wall is equipped with a hose guide and an outlet for use with a hydration system. Load control and side compression straps as well as a rope strap with magnetic fastener on the top stabilise the stowed items. Of course, the Ortles Wall also offers clever attachment options for trekking poles and ice axes as well as for the parallel and diagonal attachment of skis with the detachable straps supplied with the rucksack. In addition to the roll-top closure, the rucksack has a side zip and a front compartment that closes with a waterproof zip for quick access to your equipment. You can save weight by removing the internal stabilisation panel and the padding on the hip belt.
